Oh the irony of breastfeeding
Meredith at BostonBaby Blog is fuming quite eloquently about stadium’s breastfeeding policies. The Boston Herald ran a story quoting a woman who was asked by Patriot’s security to move her feeding to the bathroom. Feeding a child in a stadium bathroom, how appealing for mother and child. Apparently at Fenway Park if any fan finds public breastfeeding ‘offensive’ the woman is asked to move to a more discreet place to feed her child. Meredith points out the extreme irony of fans being offended by a woman feeding her child but not at all offended by the scantily clad cheerleaders prancing around the field. Is this the 1800’s?
